1. Information We Collect

Bangkok Best Exchange Finder is designed with privacy in mind. Our exchange rate comparison tool does not require user registration, account creation, or any form of sign-up. You do not need to provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier to use our service. When you use our comparison tool, the inputs you provide -- such as your selected location, currency, exchange amount, and preferred transport type -- are processed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is never transmitted to our servers and is not stored in any database. Once you close or refresh the page, any data you entered is discarded. We do not maintain user profiles, and we do not track individual users across sessions through any proprietary mechanism. The only data collection that occurs on our Site is through third-party services described in the sections below, namely Google Analytics and Google AdSense.

2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to help us understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Analytics collects information such as which pages you visit, how long you spend on each page (session duration), what device and browser you are using, your approximate geographic region (based on your IP address, which is anonymized), the website or search engine that referred you to our Site, and the general flow of your navigation through our pages. This data is collected in aggregate form and is used solely to improve the content, layout, and performance of our Site.

Google Analytics uses cookies -- small text files placed on your device -- to distinguish unique users and sessions. The primary cookies used by GA4 on our Site are: _ga, which is used to distinguish unique users and has a default expiration of two years; and _ga_* (where the asterisk represents our unique property identifier), which is used to maintain session state and expires after two years. These cookies collect data that is sent to and processed by Google on servers that may be located outside your country of residence. We have configured Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses where possible.

Our Google Analytics data retention period is set to 14 months, after which user-level and event-level data is automatically deleted. You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This add-on instructs Google Analytics JavaScript not to send any visit information to Google Analytics. Additionally, you can manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings, as described in Section 4 below.

3. Google AdSense

We display advertisements on our Site through Google AdSense, a program operated by Google LLC. Google AdSense may serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements depending on your consent preferences and applicable regulations. When personalized ads are enabled, Google uses information about your visits to this Site and other websites on the internet to serve advertisements that are relevant to your interests. This process is facilitated by the DoubleClick cookie (also known as the IDE cookie), which is set by Google on the domain doubleclick.net. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data handling, or content of any external websites linked from or referenced on our Site.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party. The only data sharing that occurs through our Site is with Google, through the use of Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. Google processes this data according to its own privacy policy, which can be reviewed at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not share data with any other analytics providers, advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party organizations. We do not have access to any personally identifiable information collected by Google through these services.

7. International Users

Our Site is accessible to users worldwide. If you access the Site from outside the country where our servers are located, please be aware that data collected through Google Analytics and Google AdSense may be transferred to and processed in countries where Google operates, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using our Site, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these countries. Google maintains compliance with applicable international data transfer frameworks, including Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers from the European Economic Area.

Because our exchange rate comparison tool processes all user input client-side in your browser, there is no server-side storage of user data to secure. We rely on the security measures implemented by Google for the protection of data collected through Google Analytics and Google AdSense. While no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect any information associated with our Site.
